This is a large scale revision and re-write of the original Shadowrun RPG. It holds to the previous ideas and themes, but gives GMs and players a clearer, easier set of core rules to give cleaner, faster game play. It does not make previous Shadowrun products obselete. It draws upon material from The Grimoire, Virtual Realities, Rigger Black Book, Shadowtech and other sources.
This 296pg softback book has some colour plates but otherwise packs a huge amount of detail into a well illustrated and organised mix of rules, theme, style and campaign material. The book contains all you need to start playing, character creation, combat, Critters, Matrix, Cyber, campaign material based on Seattle, and how the revision updates previous sourcebooks.
