We received and publish here some interesting new about Midnight Syndicate, a company that already produced high quality soundtracks for D&D sessions.
NEXT MIDNIGHT SYNDICATE CD:
Edward and Gavin have begun writing for the next Midnight Syndicate disc. Scheduled for release in early 2005, the new CD will mark a return to their trademark horror stylings.
"It's going to be a very dark disc, " said Edward Douglas, "with a real focus on the more sinister side of things that go bump in the night. In particular, the CTHULU mythos has been a good source of inspiration thus far."
Although details are forthcoming, Douglas says that the disc's story will revolve around a turn-of-the-century house with a dark history.
The band will once again call upon Keith Parkinson for artwork. "Keith really captured the essence of what we were going for in "Vampyre" so we're really happy to be working with him again. We have a lot of plans for the visual element of this project. A couple of surprises we're looking forward to sharing with fans."
MP3 UPDATE:
In December, Mp3.com closed it's doors. Samples from all the discs including the new "Dungeons & Dragons" can now be found at Midnight Syndicate UK-based distributor, Darkcell Digital Music - www.DarkcellDigitalMusic.net/Midnightsyndicate.
OTHER NEWS:
The new disc may not be the only thing Midnight Syndicate will be working on in 2004. Plans for a very big project are in the works. Be sure to check out the site and keep an eye out for future email updates.
