Mentre - ahimé - tutti ancora rimpiangiamo lo scomparso Games Journal (di cui però sono ancora presenti i preziosissimi archivi), una nuova nascita tiene alte le nostre speranze: è il Journal of Game Design, il blog di Jonathan Degann, prezioso redattore della suddetta testata on line. Dall'introduzione (per i primi contenuti ci sarà da aspettare qualche giorno):
"I'm here to take an analytical approach to boardgames - especially modern Eurogames. The focus is on game mechanisms - what makes a game exciting and why. Components and theme are secondary. The play's the thing. My reviews are not intended to be a buyer's guide. They are intended to encourage deeper appreciation for games that we are already familiar with."
Ci sarebbe già di che dibattere... buon segno.
