Operation Mercury: The German Airborne Assault on Crete, 1941 is a company/battalion scale game simulating the battle between Germany and the British/ANZAC/Greek forces on the Mediterranean island of Crete in May of 1941. The game system, based on the award winning Series: Operational System (GMT) which first appeared in Operation Shoestring: The Guadalcanal Campaign, 1942 and Air Bridge to Victory: Operation Market-Garden, 1944, allows for multiple combat options. The system also takes into account unit morale and efficiency as well as formation strength when resolving combat.
