"Il Ribaltone" is a game on Italian politics. It focuses players' attention to the intrigues and machinations that made the Italian governments so weak during the First Republic.
Each player takes the role of a political party. His goal is to achieve the most political influence by cumulating the head chief offices inside the Government during the 5 years covered by the game.
Laws "ad personam", scandals, bankruptcies, breakdowns of institutions, strange affairs, volatile alliances, backstabbing, riots inside the Parliaments... everything can happen during a match.
