In the animal kingdom, there is only one game, and that is Animal Rules Football, a heady mix of soccer and rugby that's played on a cricket pitch just for good measure. The game contains six animal factions based on Australia fauna, and each team has their strengths and weaknesses. The kangaroos use their jumping abilities to get around the opposition's defense, while the dingoes work in packs, supporting each other. The koalas are slow to start, but once they get going, they are tough players, while the wombats present a strong defense. The cockatoos like to flock together, similar to the kookaburras, who also like to steal your energy. Animal Rules Football is a simple card game for two players. Each player controls a team of animal players, represented by cards. Your options each turn are to place players on the pitch, gain energy, or take a shot. When placing players, energy is important as each has an energy cost. You score points by claiming field cards, and when no more field cards remain, the game end is triggered, with the highest total winning. —description from the publisher
