In IKAN, one of the players uses tiles to create a 5x5 labyrinth, with the labyrinth having an opening where the hero enters, a treasure, a monster, and some items that the hero needs to find. The other players watch the labyrinth being built and have a few seconds after it's finished to memorize everything, then the labyrinth is hidden from view. The dungeon maker starts a timer, then the players try to move their hero through the labyrinth by giving directions: "Go straight, turn left, go straight again." "Okay, you just picked up the key." "Now we turn around..." The players must locate the treasure, pick up a weapon and slay the monster, then escape from the labyrinth without running out of time.
