Leggendo il manuale per utilizzarlo sia in Vampiri che in LupiMannari si intravede una bellezza, lo stile tipico per la creazione del personaggio e le opzioni per i poveri e fragili umani.
Pur apprezzandolo però se dovessi fare avventure SOLO per umani questo sistema, a mio avviso, viene surclassato e schiacciato da giochi come "il richiamo di Cthulhu (sia D100 che l'ultimo sistema D6), dove l'ambientazione è circa nell'ombra e nel soprannaturale, in particolare mi pesa la mancanza di avventure pubblicate direttamente dalla casa madre.
In ogni caso ad ogni party il suo sistema di gioco e se piace...

The World of Darkness Rulebook introduces a version of our contemporary world where the supernatural is real. Players join to tell tales of mystery and horror, where theme, mood and plot are more important to a character’s experiences than his weapons or equipment. Inside are rules for character creation, task resolution, combat and any activity your character attempts as he delves into the shadows.
This is the core rulebook for the new World Of Darkness (WoD) RPG from White Wolf Game Studio published in 2004. This rules set unifies the Storytelling system. In order to play the new WoD games, you need this core rules book and, if you wish, the Supplement for the setting you want to play, such as Vampire: The Requiem, which contains rules specific to that setting.
