Risolve i problemi del vecchio core set:
- segnapunti da 3 e da 5;
- 4 contatori minaccia, possibile giocare in 4 senza dover prendere due scatole base, oppure giocare in due con un maggior pool di carte;
- carte beneficio, fardello e campagna.

Riedizione del vecchio LCG del Signore degli Anelli con più carte per poter giocare fino a 4 giocatori e con l'aggiunta di carte campagna per una nuova esperienza di gioco. Già bellissima la vecchia edizione, questa aggiunge qualche interessante novità.
